Honors Institute is a transformative, deep-dive into learning and leadership that challenges students to think critically, engage in meaningful discussions, and connect with scholars and peers from across the country.

This unique learning experience brings students and advisors together to investigate PTK’s Honors Study Topic through enhanced educational activities that push boundaries, offer new perspectives, and challenge participants’ ways of thinking.

This year’s host institution is the University of Denver. Founded in 1864, it is recognized as the oldest independent higher education institution in the Rocky Mountain Region.

Arrival: Saturday, June 20, registration and check in begins at 10:00 AM
Departure: Tuesday, June 23, check out by 11:00 AM

Registration Fee Includes:

  • 5 general sessions
  • 5 small-group seminar meetings
  • 1 City As Text experience exploring Denver as a group
  • 2 rounds of educational forums
  • Dining hall meals from Saturday dinner through Tuesday breakfast
  • 3 nights of dorm accommodations Saturday, June 20, through Tuesday, June 23. Attendees will reside in suite-format residence halls with 2 attendees per suite. Each attendee will be assigned a private bedroom and will share a suite bathroom with one other attendee. Suitemate requests may be made when registering.

Important Age Restriction Notice
Due to insurance requirements set by the University of Denver, no one under the age of 18 will be permitted to attend. Unfortunately, we are unable to make any exceptions to this policy, including the allowance of chaperones for minors. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us ensure a smooth and compliant event experience for all attendees.

Honors Institute activates learning through facilitated small-group seminars structured to maximize participation, foster deep understanding, and encourage risk-taking among students. It is designed as an intimate educational experience while also giving students a sense of what living on and navigating a university campus is like.
